1 Introduction & Scope

These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern your participation in the Teacher Index Program, a premier educational ecosystem designed to facilitate teaching opportunities across Nepal. This ecosystem is managed by Focus Edge Education Network (FEEN), incorporating its subsidiary brands:

• Focus Edge Tuition Classes (Home & Institutional Support)
• K-Learning (Digital & Virtual Learning)
• The Jump Academy (Entrance & Competitive Exams)

By registering, submitting your details, or accepting a teaching assignment through our WhatsApp ecosystem or direct placement, you agree to be bound by this Agreement legally.

2 Teacher Eligibility Criteria

To ensure high-quality education for our students (BLE, SEE, NEB, CBSE, A-Levels), applicants must strictly meet the following criteria:

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age.
• Academic Integrity: You must provide accurate personal, educational, and professional details in the application form (Google Form).
• Documentation: You must be ready to present an updated CV/Resume, Academic Certificates (Transcripts/Mark sheets), and a recent PP size photo upon request.
• Verification: The Institutions (FEEN) reserve the right to verify all documents. Submission of false, manipulated, or misleading information will lead to immediate permanent blacklisting from our ecosystem.

3 Engagement Structure & Locations

This is a contract-based professional engagement. It implies a freelancer-client relationship and does not constitute permanent employment unless explicitly stated in a separate offer letter.

Teaching Opportunities Span:

• Academic Levels: Grade 1 to 12, Bachelor Level, Master Level, Language Classes.
• Boards Covered: NEB (Nepal Board), CBSE (Indian Board), Cambridge A-Levels, IB.
• Delivery Formats:
  • Institutional Placements (Schools/Colleges)
  • Home Tuition (Private 1-on-1)
  • Online/Virtual Classes (via Zoom/Google Meet)

Service Locations (Bagmati Province & Beyond):
We provide services in all areas of Kathmandu (Baneshwor, Koteshwor, Tinkune, Maitidevi, Putalisadak, Chabahil, Bouddha, Balaju, Gongabu), Lalitpur (Patan, Kumaripati, Satdobato, Gwarko, Imadol, Bhaisepati), Bhaktapur (Suryabinayak, Kamalbinayak, Lokanthali), and major cities like Pokhara, Butwal, and Chitwan.

4 Financial Terms & Service Charges

Our revenue model is transparent. We connect you with high-paying clients, and in return, we charge a facilitation fee. By applying, you agree to the following financial structure:

Service Charge Policy (Updated)

The standard service charge for Home Tuitions and Private Placements is 35% of the first month's salary/fee (or as agreed per specific assignment contract).

• Direct Payment: Teachers receive their professional fees directly from students or guardians.
• Institution Fee: 35% of the tuition fee is allocated to the Institutions (FEEN) as a service & placement facilitation fee.
• Payment Timing: The service charge is strictly payable after the Demo class is approved and the tuition is confirmed.
• Registration Fee: A one-time registration fee may be required to process your database entry and verify documents.

नोट: डेमो क्लास पास भएपछि र ट्युसन पक्का भएपछि पहिलो महिनाको शुल्कको ३५% (35%) सेवा शुल्क संस्थालाई बुझाउनुपर्नेछ।

5 Teacher Responsibilities & Code of Conduct

As a representative of Focus Edge, K-Learning, and The Jump Academy, you are expected to maintain the highest standards:

• Punctuality: Arrive at the student's home or login to online classes 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
• Curriculum Alignment: Deliver tuition aligned with the specific syllabus (NEB/CBSE/A-Level).
• Ethics: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the student and guardian.
• Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct, discrimination, harassment, or any action that harms the reputation of our network.
• Communication: Keep the administration updated regarding student progress and any schedule changes.

6 Legal Disclaimer & Governing Law

The Institutions act solely as facilitators/aggregators. While we strive to verify client details:

• We are not responsible for private disputes regarding teaching quality or personal clashes between teacher and guardian.
• Teachers are independent service providers, not employees.

Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nepal.
